We had a great Memorial Day. I spent most of the day just relaxing and Blair spent most of the day playing with his new birthday present. He woke up at about 7:30 am to head to the store to get all the things he’d need for his big adventure. When he got home, he immediately started putting together his new CharBroil smoker.
Can you see the excitement? Oh boy… Well, it took some time to get the smoker together. Here’s a few shots of the process:
So after he was able to get the grill together, he had to cure it. So he had to brush all surfaces with vegetable oil and build a fire in the grill that would then seal everything after burning for two hours.
Then it was ready to cook on. Check out the amazing smoked ribs:
We made some corn on the cob and coleslaw to go with, and enjoyed a fantastic Hickory Smoked Rib dinner for two!
