My review
I really enjoyed this read. I especially liked that it isn’t anything like all the movies and other media that has spawned from this book. I really enjoy reading all the vampire books that are out there, and always wanted to read the book that kind of started it all. This book is nothing like those others such as the Twilight series by Stephanie Meyer or The Historian by Elizabeth Kostova with their suspenseful and romantic themes, but it has it’s own appeal. I would recommend it to anyone who is up for something a little meaty and also very entertaining.
