Now, I'm a very new user of this service, but I have a love for all things music, and I am all about trying new websites/programs that help me listen to and organize and purchase music in a clean and easy to use kind of way. (If you haven't tried Pandora.com yet, you're missing out on an amazing online radio service unlike any other)

My brother referred me to this one, and I can already tell that I'm going to love it. It's different than Pandora; Pandora will still be something I use often when I don't want to think about what I want to listen to and just want it to stream music that it knows I'll like based on my settings and previous listens.

Today I was able to upload ALL (except for a very few that were protected) of my own music from my computer to my account on LaLa.com so that I can listen to it wherever I am with internet. I can also download digital online copies of any song (say, one I heard on the radio that I love) for 10 cents. When you buy the online version, you can only listen to it when signed in, but if you want to actually download the song to have on your computer or to burn onto a cd, you can buy it for 79 more cents. If you like to use Itunes, but don't like that you can only preview a portion of the song (that one episode of The Office comes to mind...haha!), LaLa.com lets you listen to the WHOLE song ONE time for FREE! Then you can decide if you want to download the 10 cent or 89 cent version. Oh, and did I mention that you get 50 free online version downloads just for signing up?
