I feel pretty.

Let's start off with me telling you that last night I went out to eat and to a movie with a bunch of girly friends of mine. It was wonderful. I drank about 4 diet cokes and ate cheddar cheese fries and went to "The Help" and got home around midnight. Loved it.

That part about the diet cokes bit me in the butt BIGTIME, though. I guess I'm not immune to them afterall...(to all those that accused me of being so addicted that it didn't even effect me...pachow!) I could NOT get to sleep. I closed my eyes, but it was like my eyes were trying to focus on the back of my eyelids. I was getting a headache. And was getting super frustrated. SO...I gave up, and went in the other room to piddle around on the computer.

I decided to look for "long hair style" tutorials on youtube, and I came across a few videos. I was pretty excited, and then started feeling naseous from exhaustion, so I went back to bed. I think I fell asleep around 2:30.

Fast Forward to about an hour ago when I had just put Noah down for a nap and decided it was my turn to try to take a nap. I'm about to fall asleep, and miss Cami comes in asking for a drink. I drag myself out of bed to get her one, and then, of course, wasn't tired anymore. SO...instead of forcing myself to fall asleep, since I knew that if I did, I'd just get woken up again and would be grouchy and all that, I decided to pretty myself up.

It's amazing what a little "me" bathroom time can do to lift my spirits and make me feel better. I had found this great hairstyle on youtube that would only require me to dry and straighten my bangs and would look like I spent a long time on it, when it really only took about 10 minutes (that's my kind of hairstyle...). I also got a little crazy and got out a pair of scissors to trim my bangs since it's been 3 months since I had them cut, and well, they were getting out of hand. (I know I need to just schedule a cut, but I'm trying to get my hair back to the length it was before I chopped it last, and it's SOOO close!)

So, without further ado, a little webcam action (still no battery charger) to show you the result:

If only I had plans today to go somewhere so I could show it off. I guess we need milk. Here we come, Kroger! :)

That's gorgeous! What a great way to spend some extra minutes that could have been frustrating... :)
