A blogging rut.

Yah, I know. I was totally planning on keeping up with this thing a little better after the whole speech about keeping a better journal on here. Where does the time go?

We've done a few things since I last posted. We went to Washington DC to visit my brother and sister in law and Blair's friends. We went camping. We went to the zoo. We went to St. Louis to visit some friends. We painted the fence. We harvested (some of) the last vegetables from the garden. We went to BOO at the zoo.

What a summer it has been. Blair worked less hours. We had SO much time together. It really was fabulous. This week was the first week back to the normal schedule, and it has been a bit of a bummer. I am enjoying a more consistant schedule, but it's taking some adjusting. At least I can keep track of the days a little better this week. And when Blair is home, I feel like we really soak it in more.

My Noah is turning 18 months in 2 weeks. I'm really quite sad about it. Excited, too. He'll be going to nursery. Learning big boy stuff. He'll start talking and communicating more. He and Cami are already starting to play together better. I was just trying to remember when Cami started climbing out of her crib, so I went perusing my blog for the milestone. 19 months, people. 19 months. That means in 6 weeks, Noah could hypothetically be climbing out of his crib and be ready for a toddler bed. Gasp. Freaking out about that.

And, not to be whatever, but when Cami was 17 1/2 months old, I was pregnant with Noah. Halfway there, even. Crazy how time flies. And no, I'm not pregnant.
